We use the 50% rule: If the cost of the repair is 50% of the value of the system, or if the unit is over 12 years old and out of warranty, replacement is usually the smarter financial move.
SEER2 measures energy efficiency. The higher the number, the less electricity it uses. Modern systems range from 14 SEER2 (standard) to 20+ SEER2 (ultra-efficient).
Most residential replacements are completed in one day. We arrive at 8:00 AM and usually have cool air running by 5:00 PM. We handle all permits and disposal of the old unit.
INSTALLATION CRIMES WE AVOID
